Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, we do. Call or text (469) 486-1670 or fill out our contact form. We’ll call you back the same day to schedule a visit!

How much does land clearing cost?

Every property is different, so we don’t charge a flat per-acre rate. We price each job by how dense the vegetation is, the size of the trees, the terrain, how long the equipment will run, and what you want done with the debris. We come out, walk the property with you, and give you a clear written quote at no cost.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based in Waco and work across McLennan, Bosque, Coryell, Hill, Limestone, Falls, and Bell counties. That includes Hewitt, Woodway, China Spring, McGregor, Lorena, Clifton, Gatesville, Hillsboro, Temple, Belton, and the surrounding areas. Not sure if you’re in range? Give us a call.

What size jobs do you take on?

We focus on small and medium jobs for landowners, ranchers, and homeowners. That includes clearing a homesite, opening up pasture, cutting fence lines, or putting in a driveway. A lot of bigger contractors pass on these jobs, and that’s the work we’re built for.

What happens to the trees and brush that you clear?

You have options. We can mulch it and spread it back on the property, haul it off, or pile and burn it on-site where it’s permitted. We’ll go over the pros and cons of each during the estimate.

Can you burn brush during a burn ban?

No. We follow county burn bans and Texas burn rules. If a ban is in effect, we can stack the brush to burn later, or mulch or haul it instead so your project keeps moving.

What is forestry mulching, and why would I choose it?

Forestry mulching grinds trees and brush into mulch in one pass and leaves it on the ground. There’s no burning and no hauling. The mulch also helps control erosion and slows regrowth. It works well for cedar, underbrush, and selective clearing where you want to keep the bigger trees.

Can you clear around trees I want to keep?

Yes. Selective clearing is common. We’ll walk the property with you and mark which trees stay before we start.

Do I need a permit for a culvert or driveway?

Many counties require one for a culvert or driveway connecting to a county road. We handle the permitting and make sure the installation meets county requirements, so you don’t have to.

What kind of gravel do you use for roads?

We build roads with a compacted heavy-duty road base that holds up to trucks, equipment, and livestock. Depending on your needs, we can add a top layer of gravel for a cleaner finish.

How long does a typical job take?

Most small jobs take 1 to 3 days. Larger clearing or road projects can take a week or more. We’ll give you a timeline with your quote, and weather can affect the schedule.

How soon can you start?

It depends on the time of year, but we usually schedule work within 2 days of an accepted quote. Call (469) 486-1670 to check current availability.
